I was having a very hard time getting mine to eat any veggies at all. I got this recipe for veggie relish. They eat that very well with the rest of their diet. Anyone have any input as far as whether or not this is a good way to get them to eat veggies? I don't want to do anything that isn't healthy for them. Thanks ahead of time. THE RECIPE 1-32oz. bag frozen mixed veggies 1 - 4oz. jar white grape juice (from baby food isle) 4 tbls. honey Thaw veggies. Put 1/2 bag of the veggies, 2 oz. juice and 2 tbls honey into chopper. Chop to the consistancy of relish. Repeat this process for 2nd half of the veggies. Freeze in ice cube trays, then put into a ziplock bag to keep fresh. 1 veggie cube feeds 2 gliders. This is in addition to their regular servings of fresh fruits, BML & protein.

Sounds good! 1 thing, I think you should use apple juice instead of grape. It is more recommended and in my opinion healthier. Also, my suggies LOVE their blueberry and peach yogurt. You can try that!

Applejuice is good yes, but they say that grape juice hydrates more, which is why I believe it is in the recipe, but applejuice would work. Applejuice CAN be substituted though.
Remember no pineapple or orange juice. Gives the gliders the runs. Too much acid.

Yeah, they can only have 1 serving of citrus a week.
