Okay lately my attention has been to the sweetest male glider that I have ever seen. He was taken from Saginaw, private owner that were making crack. When he came to us, named weezer which sounds like me with and asthma attack he did fine. 1 week later he got severely and I mean severely dehydrated. Doing a skin test (lifting the back of his neck) stayed up until you put the skin back down......bird don't chew my pouch....... His eyes were sunken, also a sign of dehydration. However after a lot of tedious work he is still here, and eating on his own, however he will not grab for food, but he will eat from a dish. I strongly feel that this year old glider got into something that wasn't good for him. One thing led to another, and I don't know how Michigan found me, but maybe the article in the paper had something to do with this. Poor little thing was in the back corner of the room, probably getting now attention. Wouldn't know it though, he is the sweetest glider that I have ever seen. Take him everywhere. The other night I took him to the video store with me. Since getting stronger he doesn't like the pouch. Like a bird he prefers to perch on my shoulder. It is like I have a permanent decor. Still not 100% and maybe never will be I am one panicky mama. This glider has a permanent home here, and I don't know if he looks at me as his savor or his mama, but definitely spoiled. He deserves it.

well after getting slam based and taking care of a sick glider I took a break. Sorry.
The glider is doing better. Beginning to learn how to grasp potatoe chips. I know that that is a no no but I had no idea that he would grab it from my oldest one. Beacon (for Beacon of hope) is doing better, but I still find myself checking on him by my bed everynight.
