[glow=red,2,300]Good job with that. I would of freaked out. I had to take a baby black racer out of the pool and it tried to bite me. Turns out. The racers are known for their biting behaviors.[/glow]

Well snakes this leads me to a story. I used to be a tom boy as a girl growing up, and was always a grandma's girl. One day between catching frogs, and eating fresh fruit off the fruit trees (cherry, pear, blackberry, raspberry bushes, strawberries) I found a gardner snake.
I though to myself, as I must have been about 8 at the time, what a prize I am gunna take this in and show my grandma what I caught. Let me tell you don't do this to a woman in her late 50's, as not only will they have a corinary right there on the spot, but you will also hear them scream and run faster than you ever knew they could.
She had me beat running out the door, as she wouldn't touch it. I thought I had found a new friend. Then she took it to my uncle and he killed it. Haven't touched one since.

I know but that story is embedded in my brain forever now. Just seeing my grandmother run when I didn't even think that she had it in her I can never forget that. I have so many wonderful memories about that woman, and she has been gone for 14 years, but when her eyes got big and she ran I thought that I was gunna give the poor woman a heart attack. LOL

Well snakes are like spiders to me. Ever since that happened with my grandma I won't touch one since. Then the pet store up here feeds them bunnies (to the pythons) and that just breaks my heart. I guess that they eat once a week from what they tell me. All I see is this big meal in their gut and think that could be my Chihuahua and walk away.
